Michelle Obama’s St. Patricks Day gift from Sligo’s Shoreline
This St. Patrick’s Day, Taoiseach Enda Kenny will make his traditional visit to
the White House to meet President Barrack Obama.
Earlier this week, TD for Sligo-Leitrim Tony Mc Loughlin presented the Taoiseach with a bespoke VOYA White Gift Box, designed especially for Michelle Obama, as a special gift from the seashores of Sligo.
For the second year Sligo’s own VOYA products, a growing seaweed-based luxury spa brand have been given the privilege of gifting the First Lady.
This year the First Lady’s VOYA gift contains a luxury selection of the brands award-winning body range with its newly designed packaging. The new design has developed in line with VOYA’s 2015 branding evolution, which has just launched its first phase. The gift contains; VOYA’s New Invigorating Seaweed Soap, Handy to Hand Reparative Hand Creme, Angelicus Serratus, a Nourishing Body Oil and Softly Does It, Hydrating Body Lotion. (All available to purchase online via www.voya.ie)
VOYA feels the gift is symbolic, as the Taoiseach aims to promote Irish companies as a source of high quality exportable products and services during his visit to the U.S.
Founder of VOYA, Mark Walton said: “It’s an honour and a privilege to be once again Ireland’s gift of choice for the First Lady. Last year we gifted a selection of our facial products so we are looking forward to Michelle Obama receiving some of our beautiful, newly designed body range products.”
