While it may look complicated, this scary look is actually very easy to recreate at home and will have you looking like the stuff of nightmares in no time.
Follow the step by step makeup tutorial, add a blue wig (Marge Simpson would be proud), throw on a tattered bridal veil and a decaying flower headband to complete the real-life cartoon look.
(A friend of VOYA’s dresses like this every year on her wedding anniversary and lies in wait to surprise her husband. Honest!).
There’s always someone at the Halloween party who wouldn’t be caught on Facebook in ghoulish make-up. This adorable deer makeup is the perfect costume if you want to look sweet and innocent. The Bambi-inspired look has a cute button nose and eyes the size of saucers.
Shannon uses false eyelashes to accentuate the wide-eyed look, but this step can be skipped for a more child-friendly version.
This haunting look is inspired by Natalie Portman’s character in the 2010 thriller Black Swan and is sure to turn heads on Halloween night. Featuring a ghost-pale complexion, blood red lips, and dark feathered eyes – the dramatic makeup look is easy to achieve at home. But you will need a steady hand for the detail around the eye area.
Complete the chilling look by slicking hair back into a tight ballerina bun, and add a dark and delicate crown for the perfect finishing touch.
Sure to be a big hit with little girls the world over – this Elsa-inspired makeup from Disney hit Frozen will be a very popular look this Halloween. Grace, beauty, and poise are the words that best describe this cartoon Ice Queen, and dressing up as Elsa is the perfect costume for those who want to trick or treat in style.
To complete the magical look, sweep hair into a left side braid and go to town with glitter and sparkles – just be sure to wash it out before school on Monday morning! VOYA’s Silky by Nature shampoo purifies hair and will leave it clean, fresh, and silky smooth.
This Halloween you could also channel the brave and noble King of the Jungle with this lion makeup tutorial. Perfect for when you need a cool costume at the last minute, the lion look is a step up from the more traditional cat costumes that are a dime a dozen this time of year.
The best part is that this animalistic makeup can be created in less than 15 minutes and requires very few products! Follow the quick and easy tutorial to recreate this majestic makeup at home.
Remember to carefully remove all traces of costume makeup before going to bed or you could wake up to a frightening sight the next morning! VOYA’s Cleanse and Mend is gentle on sensitive skin, will remove all traces of make up and facepaint and will leave skin clean, fresh and soft. Follow our 9 Top Tips for Perfect Skincare to remove all the evidence of witches and ghouls.
