‘Silky-smooth’ and ‘smells divine’; what the experts say about VOYA seaweed products06/11/2013
by Kira Walton
Choosing a beauty product can be a minefield. It seems that there’s a new one every day, claiming to vanish cellulite, reverse aging or change skin colour – everything short of turning you 21 again!
VOYA has got something most other brands don’t though. We have the natural and mineral-boosting power of seaweed in our professional spa and home beauty products. We think that’s why so many people have said good things about us – because we haven’t been 21 in a while either.
Some well-established beauty writers, journalists and bloggers have used our products over the years. These people are not easy to impress by any means, yet they have still found something special about VOYA and our luxurious seaweed products – and they are only too willing to shout about it.
Here are some of them:
The Telegraph’s Spa Spy had aVOYA Organic Environmental Defence Facial at the Cliff House Hotel in Waterford:
“Although the immediate aftermath of the facial left Spy’s skin feeling strangely liquid, once the alien remnants of seaweed were washed off it looked cleansed and brighter. The more noticeable effects came later on though, with the congestion-free, softened feeling lasting for a fortnight.”
Beauty journalist in the Irish Examiner Emily O’Sullivan tested our VOYA My Little Hero Serum.
“VOYA is one of my favourite beauty ranges, and it’s Irish, which means local employment. This serum is excellent, and really comes into its own around this time of year when your skin is just crying out for extra hydration. It’s perfect under any moisturiser and works best at night.”
Kitty from beaut.ie visited our seaweed baths in County Sligo and found “ultimate relaxation”:
“A session lasts for 50 minutes and it really is plenty of time. For the rest of that day (and the next day), I kept rubbing my arms like a big weirdo because my skin just felt so incredibly soft after the bath. I absolutely loved it and I’ll definitely be going back there again.”
Beaut.ie also loved our VOYA Squeaky Clean Body Wash:
“This is lovely stuff. It’s got a silky texture, it’s SLS-free so non-drying and it’s packed full of goodies like organic seaweed harvested off the west coast as well as lots of oils and vitamin E. Nicely conditioning, so. It also smells amazing: sort of gingery – though I don’t think there is any actual ginger in the mix – plus there are essential oils of lemon peel, lime, mandarin and patchouli.”
Emma from the award-winning beauty blog Fluff and Fripperies loved our Totally Balmy cleanser.
“The balm itself is thick and unctuous and melts onto the skin, dissolving makeup and impurities and leaving skin feeling clean and pampered. I’m thrilled to have discovered this brand.”
Niamh Hooper in the Irish Independent visited our seaweed bath in Sligo:
“There is something naturally grounding about a seaweed bath, not to mention the obvious benefits it bestows – such as silky smooth skin. As someone with psoriasis, for which there is no known cause or cure, I found there was a noticeable improvement afterwards and still so several days later. Traditional, unique, organic – a confirmed favourite.”
